Ministry Opportunity:

Chodae Community Church of NJ (KPCA) is currently seeking a Half-Time Associate Pastor for Upper Elementary Department (Gr. 3-5).

 

Description:

The Assistant Pastor will assist the lead pastor in all capacities of ministry and work closely with the 60 plus Sunday School Teachers and TAs, in shepherding 300 children. Half-Time work hours are expected to be two full weekdays in addition to Friday evening and Sunday.

We value communication and teamwork in all that we do in the ministry.

 

Primary Duties:

-            Assist in leading children’s ministry in its entirety

-            Preach in regularly scheduled opportunities

-            Administration for various programs

-            Lead operation of Awana Clubs ministry

-            Provide pastoral care to children

 

Qualifications & Skills:

-            Currently enrolled or Graduated from Seminary

-            Basic administration skills including office software operation knowledge

-            Heart and sense of calling to Children’s Ministry

-            Although fluency is not required, candidate must have reading and writing knowledge of Korean and English
